Car Show Helps Kids With Cancer Major Project

The Florence Elks held a Car/Bike Show for our State Major Project, Kids with Cancer. 60 cars were entered and 10 motorcycles. Awards were given for best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best Cruiser, Most Unusual and a few other awards. The event brought in $3764.00 for our Kids with Cancer Program. The Members voted to make that amount an $4000.00. Jim Staubach from Newport #273 took the top spot for the Florence Elks Members Choice Award.
