878.8 Pounds of Prescription Drugs!

The DEA sponsors a Prescription Drug Take Back Day semi-annually in cooperation with Law Enforcement and organizations across the country.  The B.P.O.E is a major sponsor of these Take Back Days.  October is a Special Take Back in that it coincides with Red Ribbon Month that Honors Enrique Camarena, a DEA Agent that was kidnapped and killed in the line of duty.

On October 24 Louisville Elks 8 held a Take Back Day with the assistance of the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office.  Also present was an Agent from the DEA.  Joe Petito, Secretary & Nancy Petito, Trustee - Ladies Auxiliary & Stephen Moore, Kentucky State DAP Chairman represented The Elks.  I want to thank Joe & Nancy for their time and work.

LOUISVILLE LODGE 8 COLLECTED 878.8 POUNDS OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.  This was a fantastic effort and resulted in a record collection.
